Idyllic excursion restaurant with a large guest terrace. Well suited for refreshments and physical strengthening on more or less extensive hiking tours by foot or on two wheels However, he still has a breather throughout January 2020.

Occasion of lunch: Tasty, hot, food would be brought to the table, service friendly and guest-oriented, cozy atmosphere, clean, bright. Parking lots available, as well as overnight accommodations. Starting point for walks and hikes. Dog friendly.

Nice hike through the Palatinate Forest, a short stop to warm up with a warm drink and a bite to eat. Strengthened it goes back through the forest towards home. The time in the forester's house was relaxing and comfortable. Despite the many guests, we were able to chat well and undisturbed.

Nice place to rest and starting point for nice hiking tours

In the last few years we have been to the Heldenstein Forsthaus 10 times, mostly during a hike or a mountain bike tour, ate a little something, actually always had a coffee and a piece of cake. Food and drinks are always great, the service (self-service) is very friendly and never stressed. Sitting there on the terrace, deep in the Palatinate Forest, away from everyday life, that has something. Great !!

Secluded quiet inn, beautiful terrace, is very beautiful in the middle of the forest and is therefore well suited for hikers and bikers with and without a motor. The food selection is okay, the prices too.

Good food, lovingly prepared in beautiful rooms and a good location.

Three days with an unusual group (Ottomans and Swabians) was simply fantastic. Great hospitality (unfortunately not a specialty), great starting point for wonderful hikes in the beautiful Palatinate. Will definitely come back, if Chef Peter allows us. Thank you for everything.

A great area for such a place. They offer the typical local meals. Vegans have to fall back to french fries and salad. If you're lucky, you can get one of the 3 vacation rooms. Sure a good location for this. It's quite in the night, directly in the nature. And you can have a nice walk in different directions and find out why this ranger station is called "Heldenstein" :). A great place to stay for a drink during a lengthy trip through the woods.
